Compliments of the season to y’all. It’s been a great while I went away and I assure you, it was for the greater good. As usual, I’ve got a lot lined up just for your reading pleasure. Without further ado, I’d like to continue my gists as usual. But before I go on, I’d like to give you some tour on one of the places I visited last year.
Nike Art Gallery is indeed arguably, the biggest Art Gallery in West Africa. The gallery is owned by Chief Nike Davies Okundaye. The Lagos gallery is located at 2 Elegushi Beach Road in Lekki, Lagos. This four storey gallery comprises of an art gallery and textile museum featuring every imaginable art work made from the most mundane things you can ever think of…imagine using scraps, bottles and covers, toothbrush, rubber slippers, junction plugs…in fact, think of any “junk”, to form “sense-making” patterns!
It might not be a big deal to some, but it was and still is for me ‘cos I don’t mind soaking in those beautiful art works for hours again and again. Trust me when I say these few pictures I’m sharing out of the hundreds I’ve got in my gallery are nothing compared to being there physically and words are not enough to express what I felt there so please, enjoy…
N.B: I appear in all pictures, because it’s what we were instructed to do. Snapping just the art pieces is going against the rules of the place.

Hopefully, another post will come up before the week runs out.
